Remote for Insignia TV lets you control compatible Insignia Roku TV and Insignia Fire TV models over Wi-Fi. If your Android phone has a built-in IR blaster, you can also use it as an IR remote for supported Insignia TVs without Wi-Fi. The app also supports casting and screen mirroring on compatible TVs and devices. SMART REMOTE FEATURES • Find compatible TVs on the same Wi-Fi network. • Navigate with D-pad, touchpad and swipe controls. • Use power, volume, mute, channels, input and playback when supported. • Enter text faster with your phone keyboard. • Use voice input where supported. • Save multiple TVs and reconnect quickly. • Connect manually by IP address when automatic discovery is unavailable. • Turn haptic feedback on or off in Settings. INSIGNIA ROKU TV REMOTE Connect your Android phone and compatible Insignia Roku TV to the same Wi-Fi network. Use your phone to navigate, control playback, adjust supported TV controls, enter text and open available TV apps. INSIGNIA FIRE TV REMOTE Connect your phone and compatible Insignia Fire TV to the same Wi-Fi network. Some Fire TV models may require ADB debugging or Developer Options and approval of the authorization message shown on the TV. IR REMOTE — NO WI-FI REQUIRED If your Android phone has a built-in IR blaster, you can use IR remote mode with supported Insignia TVs. IR compatibility depends on your phone hardware and the selected remote profile. Available buttons can vary by profile. CAST & SCREEN MIRRORING Cast supported photos, videos or media from your phone to a compatible TV, and use screen mirroring when supported by your TV, phone and connection method. COMPATIBILITY Features depend on the TV model, operating system, phone hardware and connection method. Power-on, wake, input, casting and screen mirroring are not available on every TV. For Wi-Fi control, your phone and TV must be connected to the same local network. IR control requires an Android phone with a built-in IR blaster. Remote for Insignia TV is independently developed.
