Lost your Sceptre TV remote, or want an easier way to control your TV from your phone? Remote for Sceptre TV combines two control modes in one app: Wi-Fi control for compatible Sceptre Android TV and Google TV devices, plus classic infrared control for supported Sceptre TVs when your Android phone has an IR blaster. SMART WI-FI REMOTE Pair your phone with a compatible TV on the same local network. The app can discover supported Android TV remote services, guide you through PIN pairing, and remember trusted devices for faster reconnects. Use your phone to: • Control power, volume, mute and channels • Navigate with a D-pad or touchpad gestures • Use Home, Back, Settings and Input/Source controls • Play, pause, rewind, fast-forward and stop media • Enter numbers with the keypad • Type text with your phone keyboard • Use supported voice commands for Power, Volume, Mute, Home and Back • Open supported streaming apps with quick-launch buttons CLASSIC IR REMOTE Have an older, non-smart or offline Sceptre TV? If your phone has a built-in infrared emitter, Classic Remote can work without Wi-Fi or internet. Choose your Sceptre TV model and control it directly with IR. The app includes profiles for 274 Sceptre TV models. FAST SETUP For Wi-Fi control, connect the phone and TV to the same network, select the discovered TV, and enter the pairing code shown on the TV. For IR control, choose your TV model and point your phone's IR emitter toward the TV. Voice commands depend on speech-recognition availability. IMPORTANT This app does not provide screen mirroring, photo/video casting, Chromecast, DLNA or Miracast.
