Remote for Carrier AC

Use your Android phone as a Carrier AC remote when the handset isn't nearby. Set the temperature, use the available fan and mode controls, and save a matching remote so you can return to it from home. Your phone must have a built-in infrared (IR) blaster. Aim the phone's IR emitter at the indoor unit to send commands. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth do not replace this hardware. Everyday Carrier AC controls Available functions depend on your AC and the selected remote profile: - Switch the air conditioner on or off. - Adjust the selected temperature with the dial or plus and minus buttons. - Choose an available operating mode, such as Cool, Dry, Fan, Auto or Heat. - Change fan speed and swing settings where supported. Your remotes, saved by room Your saved remotes stay together on the home screen. Name them by room, rename them when needed or remove an old entry without searching through the profile list. Your recent remote is also available from home. Choose a light or dark appearance in Settings. Find a matching remote Choose a remote profile and test it while aiming your phone at the AC. Check power, temperature and the other settings you use. If the AC does not respond correctly, use the profile arrows to try another remote. Save a match once you have checked its controls. Compatibility Not every AC model or function is supported. The app cannot automatically detect your air conditioner or confirm that it received a command. Watch the AC itself when testing. The temperature on the remote screen is your chosen setting, not a measured room temperature.
