Hold the door. Breach. You have about three seconds. The room is full of cats. Some wear masks — those are the ones you came for, and a tranq dart puts them straight to sleep. Some do not — those are the hostages, and if you dart one, the house is over. Read the room fast and pick your shot. WHAT YOU BRING A dart gun and a bag of very silly ideas. A fish that goes off like a flashbang and stops every cat mid-thought. A wind-up mouse that drags them off a hostage. A laser dot they cannot ignore. A cucumber. A cardboard box that one of them will simply get into and stay in. Pick a tool and the clock stops while you aim it. WHO IS IN THERE Masked cats behind couches, on window sills, peeking round pillars — and one who steps out with a katana and runs straight at you. Six places to clear: a house, a garage, a fish market, a bank, a back yard and a sewer, each with its own furniture and its own light. On night houses the goggles come down, everything goes green, and the cats are quicker than you. FOUR BOSSES Don Whiskers calls a blade through the door every time you hit him. The Shadow blinks between three spots and the bell on his collar is the only way in. The Bouncer hides behind a bin lid and only opens up to slam it down. Big Tuna throws fish crates at you — shoot them out of the air or lose a cat. THE ARMOURY Coins come from playing and nothing else. Spend them on six guns that each look and feel different, on the special moves, and on more cats for the squad. There is no real-money shop. There is no energy bar. There is nothing waiting for you to come back tomorrow. Watch an advert if you want one soaked cat back on their feet. That is your choice, and it is the only one in the game. Short runs. One thumb.
