Simple metronome: tap tempo, accents, subdivisions, trainer and practice timer
A simple metronome for practice. Set the tempo, press Start and play along. The arm swings in time with every click, so you can follow the beat by eye as well as by ear. 🎵 TEMPO • Any tempo from 30 to 240 BPM • Drag the slider, or tap + and −; hold them to move quickly • Tap the BPM to type an exact number • Tap tempo: tap along with a song and the metronome takes its speed • The tempo name appears under the BPM, from Grave and Largo to Allegro and Prestissimo 🥁 BEATS, ACCENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS • 1 to 12 beats per bar, for 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 7/8 and more • Tap a beat's dot to make it an accent (a higher click), a normal click or silent • 1 to 4 clicks per beat for eighth notes, triplets and sixteenths; the clicks between beats are softer • For 6/8, set 2 beats with 3 clicks per beat ⏱️ PRACTICE TOOLS • Tempo trainer: pick a start tempo, a goal and how fast to climb; after a 3-2-1 count-in it speeds up by a few BPM every few bars, and Stop sets the tempo back • Practice timer: slide to any length from 1 to 60 minutes; after a 3-2-1 count-in the metronome plays until the time is up • Presets: save the tempo, beats, clicks and accents for each song and load them with one tap 📱 KEEPS PLAYING • Keeps clicking when you switch apps or lock the screen • Stop it from the notification or the lock screen • To have it stop when you leave the app, turn off "Play in the background" in Settings 🎼 A REAL-LOOKING METRONOME • A classic pyramid metronome whose arm swings with the beat • The weight slides up the arm for slow tempos and down for fast ones, like on the real thing • The clicks are timed on their own audio thread, so the tempo stays steady • Six sounds: click, tick, woodblock and three beeps 🌙 SIMPLE TO USE • One screen with large buttons, and a guide behind the i button with a moving demo of each feature • Dark and light themes • Remembers your last tempo, beats and accents For piano, guitar, drums, bass, violin, singing, dance and any practice where timing matters. 🔒 OFFLINE AND PRIVATE • Works without an internet connection and needs no account • Privacy policy: https://knktechs.com/privacy-policy 💬 To report a bug or suggest an idea, leave a review.
