KING is to QUEEN as MAN is to ___. Three words are given. You supply the fourth. That's the whole game — and it's harder, and more satisfying, than it sounds. Ratio is a word game built on real word vectors: a map of 20,000 words learned from millions of sentences. An analogy is solved by arithmetic in that map, and your answer is scored by where it lands. Everything runs on your phone — no account, no sign-in, no network needed to play. THREE WAYS TO PLAY • Daily — five analogies a day, rising in difficulty, the same for everyone. Up to 3 points each. Share your row. • Practice — endless puzzles. Narrow them to one kind of relation: capital cities, opposites, past tenses, part to whole, worker to tool, and thirty more. • Streak — how many can you solve in a row? FAIR ANSWERS, NOT JUST THE ONE WE HAD IN MIND Analogies have more than one good answer. If your word fits the pattern as well as ours does, it counts — and we show you what we had in mind. When you miss, you're told how warm you were: the closer in meaning, the warmer. Stuck? Three hint tiers: the kind of relation, the first letter, the letter count. EVERY PUZZLE IS CHECKED Ratio's 38,000 puzzles come from hand-written relation templates, and every single one was verified against the same vectors that judge you.
