* Feature to decode morse code with the camera * Improved UI and UX * Updated libraries to use the latest technologies by Android
Send, decode and learn Morse code with your flashlight and camera. Ad-free.
MorseLight turns your phone's flashlight into a Morse code transmitter and its camera into a receiver. Signal a friend across a field, at a campsite, or anywhere without a network: no internet needed. SEND • Type a message and send it with the flashlight, watching each dot and dash light up as it goes • Tap out Morse by hand: hold the torch button to key it yourself • One-tap SOS and Signal • Speed from 1 to 10 words per minute, with standard ITU timing • Optional sidetone, loop transmission and keep-screen-awake RECEIVE • Decode a flashing light with your camera: point it, calibrate once, then read • Or tap along with the light and let the app decode it • An adaptive decoder works out the sender's speed by itself, so you don't need to agree one in advance LEARN • Decoding drill: copy a message flashed on screen • Sending drill: key letters and words, with your progress saved • A searchable chart of every letter and number PRIVACY • Ad-free • The flashlight needs no special permission, and the camera is only requested when you open camera decoding • Works without an internet connection OPEN SOURCE MorseLight is free and open source.
