- Now in Hindi, Portuguese, Indonesian, Turkish and German - No separate hotspot limit? Track your whole plan's data instead (hotspot share shown separately) - Today's share: how much you can use today to last the cycle, with one alert if you go over - Match your carrier's number: enter what your carrier app shows and usage lines up - New daily and every-N-days cycles - Fixed wrong numbers briefly shown right after opening the app
Will your hotspot data last the cycle? See today's share and get alerts early.
At this rate, will your data last until the end of the cycle? Your carrier's app can show what you've already used. Tethering Hub tells you what comes next: how much you can use today, and when you'll run out at your current pace. Find out too late and you spend the last days of the cycle crawling. Many plans cap high-speed hotspot data separately, and past that cap a single web page can barely load. TODAY'S SHARE — HOW MUCH CAN I USE TODAY? • Your remaining data divided by the days left, shown on the main screen — e.g. "1.2GB of today's 1.67GB used · 0.47GB left" • Go over today's share and you get one alert that day, with the daily amount that still gets you to the end of the cycle • On a daily plan: the time of day you'd hit today's limit at this pace • At this rate: projected total, daily average, days left, and the date you'd hit the cap • Past usage as a chart or a monthly calendar, colored against your daily average FITS THE PLAN YOU ACTUALLY HAVE • Choose what the cap covers: hotspot-only data, or your plan's total data. In total mode you also see how much of it went to your hotspot • Billing cycles: monthly on your start date, weekly, every N days (1–90, for prepaid packs), or daily with a midnight reset • Pick Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Mint, Google Fi, US Mobile, SKT, KT, or LG U+ and your plan — the hotspot cap fills in for you. Every cap is dated in the app, and any other plan works by typing your own cap MATCH YOUR CARRIER'S NUMBER • If the app's number differs from your carrier's app or text message, type in their figure — used or remaining — and this cycle's math lines up with it • Installed partway through a cycle? Match it and start accurate from day one • Switch back to the phone's own measurement anytime WITHOUT OPENING THE APP • Choose your own alert thresholds — 50%, 70%, 80%, 90%. 100% is always on • Runs in the background and resets automatically when a new cycle starts • Home screen widget and a Quick Settings tile • Mobile data by app: see which apps used the most, with your hotspot in the same list WHEN GUESTS NEED YOUR HOTSPOT • Turn your hotspot name and password into a QR code — guests scan and connect, no spelling passwords out loud • Hotspot QR widget for your home screen WHEN THE CONNECTION FEELS SLOW • Signal strength meter: find the spot where your phone gets the strongest mobile signal • Speed check in plain words: what video quality and video calls your connection can handle • Live download and upload rates over the last 60 seconds • Wi-Fi channel analyzer for 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz (Wi-Fi 6E), with a channel suggestion based on real congestion BATTERY & SHORTCUTS • How long your battery should last with the hotspot on, learned from your own use • One tap to Tethering, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth settings, with live USB, Bluetooth, and Ethernet tethering status • Light and dark themes HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT DOES Android does not let any third-party app switch your hotspot on or off without root, and we won't pretend otherwise. Tethering Hub gives you one-tap access to the system settings, and focuses on what apps genuinely can do: measuring, looking ahead, warning, and sharing. Data usage tracking uses Usage Access, a permission you grant yourself in Android Settings. It reads data usage per app — never calls, messages, photos, or screen contents. Wi-Fi scanning needs location permission because Android requires it for any nearby-network scan. Your tethering usage figures, Wi-Fi network names, and speed test results stay on your device — they are never uploaded. What does leave your device is limited to showing ads (Google AdMob), fixing crashes and seeing which features get used (Firebase), and the speed test itself, which contacts public measurement servers run by Google and Cloudflare. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland nothing is collected until you consent. The full list is in the privacy policy, which you can read inside the app. Free. No account needed.
