Initial release of Softbox.
A pocket softbox: full-screen color light for photos. Offline, no ads.
Softbox turns your phone's screen into a portable, color-accurate light source — perfect for macro shots, product photography, portraits, or any time you need a quick fill light and don't have your studio gear on hand. FULL-SCREEN LIGHT, ANY COLOR Pick any color and intensity with a fast, precise color picker, or jump straight to a Kelvin-based white balance preset — from warm 2700K to cool 6500K. SAVE YOUR FAVORITES Keep a row of go-to colors and lighting setups so you can switch instantly between shots without re-picking every time. DUAL-COLOR MODE Split the screen between two colors — vertical split, horizontal split, stripes, or a smooth gradient — for creative lighting effects or color-matched fill from two angles. TOUCH LOCK Lock the screen once you've dialed in your light, so a phone propped up next to your subject can't accidentally change color or dim if it's bumped. NO ACCOUNT. NO ADS. NO INTERNET. Softbox works completely offline. There's no sign-up, no ads, no analytics, and no data collection of any kind — everything stays on your device. Whether you're shooting on location, in a cramped apartment studio, or just need one more light source in a pinch, Softbox is the light you always have with you.
