K-Beauty Decoder is a Korean skincare scanner: one photo of a product becomes one clear card with the label translated into your language, the ingredient list with cautions, how to use it, and the dates printed on the package. It also covers beauty devices, and shows real reviews you can filter by skin type. WHAT YOU GET ON THE CARD • Brand, product name and category • The label translated into your language • The ingredient list exactly as printed, with cautions from a fixed rule table • How to use, by product category • Manufacturing date, use-by date and period after opening, as read from the label HOW IT WORKS Take a photo of the front of the product or pick a screenshot from your gallery. If the product is new to the shared database, the app asks for one more photo of the ingredient list. Beauty devices (LED masks, cleansing devices, hair removal devices and more) get a card with the printed specifications, how to use and cautions. SEARCH BY NAME Type a brand or product name to find products already in the database. It is built to find them even when the spelling is a little off, or when you type in English, Korean or Japanese. If a product is not there yet, scan it to add it. HOW CAUTIONS WORK Cautions come from matching each ingredient name against a fixed rule table, so the same ingredient list always shows the same cautions. Use them as a quick check when you want to look into an ingredient. REVIEWS FROM REAL PEOPLE Reviews are written by users. Each review shows a star rating, skin type and country flag. Filter by your language or your skin type, read a translation in your language, and mark reviews that helped you. There are no auto-generated reviews and no review summaries. MY SHELF Keep the products you scanned in one place, sorted by the date to finish them. Your shelf stays on your device. TRENDING See which products are mentioned most in public videos over the last 7 days, counted automatically through official APIs and refreshed several times a day, with links to the source videos. You can also see what people in the app are scanning and reviewing this week. COMMUNITY A feed of short posts from users around the world, with photos. Reviews appear in the same feed. Posts in other languages are shown translated into your language, with the original one tap away. Tags are added automatically, so you can tap a brand, product or ingredient to see only those posts. Posts, photos and comments can be reported, and you can block authors. PRICE AND WHERE TO BUY When at least 3 users have entered what they paid, the card shows that price range. With fewer, it shows an estimated range. Links help you look the product up at shops. PRIVACY • Photos you scan are used only to read the label and are not stored on the server. Photos you attach to a community post are stored and shown with the post, and are deleted with the post or your account. • Your profile holds a nickname, skin type and country only. No email, no location, no contacts. • You can delete your account and all of your reviews in the app at any time. GOOD TO KNOW • Text is read from the label. Reading errors can happen, so check the packaging for anything important. • Cautions and usage tips are general information, not medical advice. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist about your skin. • Reviews reflect the personal experience of each user.
