The storm is over, your ship is in pieces on the reef, and two castaways, Alder and Sorrel, stand on the sand with a crate, a knife and a talkative parrot. Driftwood is a calm but tense island survival game inspired by the classic 1719 castaway tale, about many small things at once. Fresh water, a fire, food, rest and hope all need you. Tap a spot on the island, give your castaways a job, and watch the day unfold. WHAT YOU DO - Keep two equal castaways, a loyal dog, a parrot and a small herd of goats alive and well. - Plan the day: queue jobs, drag them between Alder and Sorrel, and time fishing and reef work with the tide. - Read the sky: the forecast, the tide chart and the storm calendar tell you what is coming. Shield the fire, brace the hut, or ride it out. - Build up from a lean-to to a stout lodge. Add a garden, a goat pen, a workshop and a lookout, then a raft and a boat. - Keep a signal fire burning for passing ships. Be rescued, sail away on your own boat, or settle and make the island your home. - End every day with the evening journal: small stories, real choices and no wrong answers.
