It does not require an account, login, cloud backend, or remote server for core remote control features. Important: This app is built for Android TV and Google TV devices that support the Android TV Remote protocol. TV availability, pairing, text input, app launch, power, and media controls may vary depending on your TV model, firmware, and network configuration. LG webOS, Samsung Tizen, Roku, and infrared remote control are not currently supported.
