REST API client: environments, cURL import, JSON responses and collections.
APIBench is a REST API client for Android. Build an HTTP request, send it, and read the response with formatted JSON, headers and timing, then save it to a collection so you can run it again later.
Request builder
• GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, HEAD and OPTIONS
• Custom request headers
• Body as JSON, text, form data or URL-encoded
Environments and variables
• Create environments, for example dev, staging and production, and switch the active one from the request builder
• Use {{variables}} in the URL, headers, body and form fields; they are filled in when you send
• Dynamic values: {{$guid}}, {{$timestamp}}, {{$isoTimestamp}} and {{$randomInt}}
• A warning shows any variable that isn't defined
• Environment values are encrypted on your device
Import
• Paste a cURL command to turn it into a request, including method, headers, data, basic auth and query parameters
• Import collection files in the Collection v2.0 and v2.1 JSON format: folders, collection variables, auth settings and request bodies come across
Response viewer
• Status code, response time and payload size for every call
• Pretty-printed, syntax-highlighted JSON body
• Response headers and raw output in separate tabs
Collections
Save requests into named collections, rename or delete them, and re-run saved requests whenever you need.
History
Every request you send is logged with its status and time, so you can open and resend it without rebuilding it.
Material 3 design in light and dark. Handy for checking an endpoint from your phone, debugging a webhook, testing a backend while away from your desk, or learning how REST APIs behave.
