PDF & MusicXML score reader: page turns by tap or pedal, annotations, setlists
Sheet Music Pro puts your scores on your phone or tablet and lets you turn pages without taking your hands off the instrument. Import PDF, MusicXML or photos, then turn by tap, swipe, Bluetooth pedal or automatically. Annotation, setlists, a score editor, hum to score, a metronome and a tuner are built in, for piano, guitar, strings, winds, choir and bands. MAIN FEATURES ■ Import scores (no limit on the number of pieces) Import PDF, MusicXML (.musicxml / .mxl) and image files, a whole folder at once, or photograph paper scores and combine the pages into one piece. "Open with" and "Share" from other apps work too. Files are copied into the app, so moving or deleting the originals never loses a score. ■ Turn pages your way Tap, swipe, Bluetooth page-turner pedal, keyboard or the volume buttons. Choose the tap zones and teach the app the keys your pedal sends. Pages turn the moment you lift your finger, with no waiting mid-performance. ■ Half-page turns, two pages, auto turn A half-page turn swaps only the top half first so you can read ahead. Show two pages side by side in landscape, scroll vertically, or crop margins on small screens. Auto turn works by seconds per page or by tempo (BPM) and bars per page. ■ Annotate Pen, highlighter, eraser, text and music stamps: dynamics, fingerings, breath marks, bowings and more, with undo and redo. The original file is never changed. ■ Setlists and performance mode Put pieces in playing order; the last page of one piece turns straight into the next. Performance mode disables everything except page turns to prevent accidental taps. ■ Organize your library Search by title or composer, tags, favorites, sorting, bookmarks, resume on the last page, plus inverted and sepia page colors. ■ MusicXML display and playback The app engraves MusicXML itself and plays it at any tempo. Show note names (C D E or do re mi) under the notes for sight-reading practice. ■ Write your own scores Enter notes, rests, dots, ties, chords, triplets and accidentals. Change clef, key, time signature and tempo; add repeats, dynamics, articulations and lyrics. Play back instantly and export as MusicXML. ■ Metronome, tuner, reference tone Metronome with time signature, subdivisions and tap tempo. The tuner shows the deviation in cents. ■ Backup and trash Export scores, annotations, setlists and recordings as one ZIP file. Auto backup keeps copies in a folder you choose. Deleted scores stay in the trash for 30 days. PREMIUM FEATURES ■ Hum to score Sing a melody and the app detects pitch, tempo and key and writes an editable score. Sing to a click with count-in for accurate rhythm, then fix each note on a piano roll before saving. Everything is processed on your device and audio is never uploaded. Before buying you can record up to 15 seconds and see and hear the full result. ■ Transpose, mute parts, loop bars Transpose MusicXML scores to any key, mute your own part, or loop the bars you need to practice. ■ Practice audio and recording Attach an audio track to a score and practice with A-B loop and speed control. Record your playing too. ■ Recorded page turns, links, page order Record your turns once and the pages turn at the same moments next time. Place a link on a D.S. or repeat sign to jump back with one tap, or rearrange the pages into playing order. ■ Export and color themes Export annotated PDF, MIDI and page images (PNG). Choose a color theme. PRICING Free to download. Import, page turning, pedals, annotation, setlists, score writing, metronome, tuner and backup are free, with no limit on the number of scores. Premium features are unlocked by a single in-app purchase: a one-time purchase, not a subscription. PRIVACY Your library lives only on your device. No account is needed, and scores and recordings are never sent to a server. REQUIREMENTS Android 8.0 or later, phones and tablets. Available in 40 languages.
