Lock any app with a PIN, pattern, password or fingerprint, and catch intruders
App Lock Pro asks for your PIN, pattern, password or fingerprint whenever someone opens an app you chose. Keep photos, chats, email and payment apps private when you lend your phone. Every locking feature is free; intruder selfies and camera and mic alerts come with the one-time Premium upgrade. KEY FEATURES (FREE) ■ Lock the apps you choose Pick apps from Locked, Suggested and All lists or search. Suggestions include Settings and the Play Store, the usual loopholes. ■ Covers the app before it shows A locked app is covered by an opaque screen the moment it opens. ■ PIN, pattern, password, fingerprint Use a 4–16 digit PIN, a pattern or a password. The fingerprint prompt opens on its own; face unlock works where the phone allows it. ■ Anti-peeking Shuffle the number keys, hide the pattern trail and turn off key vibration. ■ Brute-force protection 5 wrong tries in a row means a 30-second wait, doubling every 5 more (up to 15 min). Setting the clock back doesn't help, and your fingerprint still works. ■ Never locked out Forgot your code? Confirm with your phone's screen lock or a security question and set a new one. Otherwise, uninstalling always removes every lock. Nothing is hidden, moved or encrypted. ■ Re-lock timing Right away, after 30 s, 1, 3, 5 or 15 min, or at screen off. Screen off always locks everything. Picking a photo or sharing doesn't count as leaving. ■ Lock all now Re-lock every app at once from the Home tab, the notification or a Quick Settings tile. ■ Fake screens Hide the lock screen behind a fake "app keeps stopping" message or fingerprint scanner. Long-press to reveal it. ■ Uninstall lock Lock the uninstall and install confirmation screens (off by default). No device admin, and it only works while you have a screen lock or security question, so you can't lock yourself out. ■ Self lock and new-app prompts App Lock Pro locks itself (on by default), offers to lock newly installed apps and restarts after a reboot. ■ Access log and permission check See when each locked app was opened, how, and when someone got it wrong. List apps that can use your camera, mic, location, contacts, SMS, call log or photos. ■ Clock, themes and self-check A lock screen clock, 8 themes, and a self-check that finds settings stopping the lock. PREMIUM FEATURES ■ Intruder selfie After 1, 2, 3 or 5 wrong tries, the front camera quietly takes a photo, with optional 3-shot burst, a back-camera shot and counting failed fingerprints. You're told the next time you unlock. Up to 60 photos stay inside the app, never in your gallery. ■ Alarm and warning A 10-second alarm, and a lock screen warning that wrong tries are photographed. ■ Modes and schedules Several sets of locked apps, switched by hand or by day and time. "Lock everything except these" is handy when lending your phone to a child; calls still get through. ■ Icon disguise and lock screen photo Disguise the icon as a calculator, clock, weather or notes app, and use your own lock screen photo. ■ Camera and mic alerts Get notified when an app starts using the camera or mic, see a corner dot while in use, check history and mute trusted apps. Android doesn't say which app it is, so the foreground app at that moment is shown. You're also told when an app gains new permissions. PRICING Locking and everything that keeps it working is free, with no time limit. Premium is a single one-time purchase, not a subscription. PERMISSIONS • Usage access: to detect a locked app opening. • Display over other apps: to show the lock screen instantly. • Notifications: the ongoing notification Android requires (lowest priority) and alerts. • Camera: only when you turn on intruder selfie. No accessibility services (AccessibilityService) and no location. PRIVACY Your code is stored only as a salted hash. Codes, photos and logs stay on your device, are never sent anywhere and are left out of backups.
