Your heart rate is used just to work out which minutes you were actually playing, so warming up and the walk back to your car don't count — it stays on your phone. Turn on sharing and you appear in that game's ranking, and on your city's board. It's optional, off until you switch it on, and you can delete your stats whenever you like.
