Added: - Change the key toolbar layout, color scheme, font and size without leaving the session - Add a key toolbar layout from a shared link - The PIN lock can ask again when you come back to the app Changed: - Ending a session closes it right away instead of waiting on the server - A home screen shortcut opens the machine's running session instead of a new one
SSH sessions survive locked screens & lost signal. SFTP, keys & port forwarding.
Stop losing your terminal sessions with Termphin, an SSH client and SFTP file manager built for resilience. Lock your screen, switch from WiFi to mobile data or lose signal entirely: an optional open-source agent on your server keeps the shell running, and Termphin reconnects you exactly where you left off. Sessions that survive disconnects The agent is small, MIT-licensed and runs on your server, so your session no longer depends on your phone's connection. Termphin reconnects on its own and resumes from the output you missed instead of starting over. Builds, long-running commands and AI coding agents keep going while you are away. On a slow link, predictive local echo shows what you type before the server answers. A real terminal Native rendering, not a WebView wrapper. TUI applications, editors, box-drawing characters, spinners and diffs display exactly as intended. 14 color themes, two sessions side by side in split view, and a special-keys toolbar you can rearrange. Tabs and split screen Keep several sessions open at once, one per tab, including more than one on the same machine. Swipe or tap to switch, drag a tab to reorder. In landscape the tab strip becomes a side rail. In split screen, one tab shows two sessions, stacked in portrait and side by side in landscape; drag the divider to resize. AI coding agents over plain SSH Because Termphin is a plain SSH client, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and any other agent that runs in a terminal work the same as on a laptop - there is no proprietary pairing protocol. Start a long task, lock your screen, and read the result later. Jump hosts and port forwarding - Reach private machines through a bastion with jump hosts (ProxyJump), chained if needed - Local and remote port forwarding to open SSH tunnels to databases and dev servers Security - Host key verification: each server's key is pinned on first connect and checked on every connection after, with a known hosts list in Settings - Keyboard-interactive login for 2FA, TOTP codes and PAM prompts - Generate SSH keys (Ed25519 or RSA), or import your own - App lock with PIN or fingerprint - Passwords and keys are stored in an encrypted vault on the device and are never sent to any server of ours Built-in SFTP - File browser to upload files and download files or whole folders - Text editor with syntax highlighting - Image preview No need to switch apps to edit a config or move a file. Servers, organized - Colored groups for servers, keys and snippets, with search by name or host - Snippets: save a command, run it on one or more servers, and see each run's output and exit code - Backup to move everything to a new device, optionally encrypted with a passphrase Works with any SSH server. Termphin detects the shell on the remote side, including PowerShell on Windows.
