Fold your first origami model today. Koyash breaks every model into single folds, and each step has one labeled diagram and one short sentence. Origami diagrams often squeeze several moves into one picture. In Koyash, each step shows one fold, and unfolding or turning the paper over gets a step of its own. The two-tone diagrams draw valley and mountain folds with different dash patterns, so you can read them at a glance with your phone propped beside the paper. GETTING STARTED New to origami? Answer one question about how much you have folded before, and your learning path starts at that level. Complete beginners start with the easiest models. Then the app walks you through your first model, a paper cup, one step at a time. 100 MODELS The catalog covers animals, flowers, vehicles, toys, decorations and useful things like boxes, envelopes and wallets. Fold a crane, a swan, a frog, a butterfly, a paper airplane, a boat, a heart, a lucky star, a lily or a kusudama ball. Every model is labeled Easy, Medium or Hard and lists the paper you need, any extra supplies and about how long it takes. You can search by name, filter by level and category, and save models for later. WHAT YOU NEED One square of thin paper, about 6 in (15 cm). Printer paper is fine. Paper with one colored side makes the diagrams easier to follow. FREE AND PREMIUM Start with the free models. Premium unlocks all 100 models and removes ads. It is a yearly or weekly subscription that renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
