ADHD routines: current step & countdown on your lock screen and widget.
Time blindness is losing track of time the moment you look away. Wend keeps your current step and its countdown where you will see it: on your lock screen, in your notifications and on your home screen.
Build a routine as a short list of steps. Tap it and Wend shows one step at a time, full screen, with a calm countdown and a big Done button. Leave the app and the step comes with you.
WHAT YOU GET
• One step at a time. No list to read halfway through your morning.
• A countdown that follows you. It runs in your notifications and on your lock screen, with a Done button right there. Nothing to set up.
• A live home-screen widget. Your current step, what comes next and the countdown, without opening the app. Done and Skip work on the widget itself.
• A timer that waits for you. At 0:00 nothing jumps ahead. You tap Done when you are done.
• If-then cues. Tie a step to a moment instead of a clock time: "after the kettle → take the tablets".
• Ready-made routines for mornings, leaving the house and winding down. Edit any of them.
• Calm by design. Dark, quiet, no points, no streaks, no confetti.
• Offline, no account. Your routines stay on your phone.
WHERE THE IDEAS COME FROM
Showing the next step and a running clock where you will see it follows Russell Barkley's work on executive function: put the information at the point of performance instead of holding it in your head. The if-then cue comes from research on implementation intentions (Gollwitzer and Sheeran, 2006). References: wend.lluisgasso.com/research
