Phone Limiter’s first public release brings daily app allowances, scheduled block windows, deliberate five-minute extensions, and seven days of on-device usage history. Includes clear permission setup and the Ember design. No account or ads. Send blocking, timing, or compatibility feedback to support@prifecto.com.
Set daily app limits and quiet hours. Keep your screen time on your terms.
Make room for what matters. Phone Limiter helps you put a boundary around the apps that take more of your time than you intended. Choose a daily allowance, set a block window, and get a clear pause when your boundary is reached. YOUR APPS, YOUR LIMITS Choose from the launchable apps on your phone. Set a separate daily limit for each app, or apply a rule to several apps together. Your allowances reset each day. QUIET HOURS ON YOUR SCHEDULE Set a time window when a selected app should stay blocked. Windows can run overnight, so your evening boundary can continue into the next morning. A MOMENT TO CHOOSE When a daily allowance is used up, Phone Limiter shows a block screen. Close the app, or deliberately hold for five more minutes. The hold gets longer with each extension that day. A daily-limit extension can temporarily override an overlapping block window; a window-only block has no extension button. SEE YOUR RECENT PATTERN Review the last seven days of foreground time for the apps you added. The history chart breaks tracked use down by app and day. It starts recording after setup; it does not import your phone's earlier usage history. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, ads, analytics, or cloud service. Your rules and tracked usage are stored on your device. The app works offline and does not send your app usage to us. HOW ANDROID BLOCKING WORKS Phone Limiter uses Android's AccessibilityService API to detect which app is in the foreground and measure foreground time for selected apps. It does not read screen contents, messages, or typed text. Display-over-other-apps access lets it show the block screen. You choose whether to grant these permissions and can disable them in Android settings. Optional battery settings may help keep checks running on your device. Blocking and timing depend on Android permissions and your device's battery management. Phone Limiter is a personal boundary tool: you can change your own rules, revoke permissions, or uninstall it. It is not intended for remote monitoring or tamper-proof parental control.
