Pause Moment: Screen Lock

8:00. The pill is taken. At 11 pm there is no "did I take it?" The evening dose, taken before the day swallows it. Phone face down. You heard the whole story. So did they. Every reminder app has the same problem. You swipe it away without thinking. You forget. Again. Pause Moment is not a reminder app. When your pause fires, your screen locks completely. Your photo appears at the top. Your personal words emerge one by one. A breathing ring counts down. You cannot swipe it away. You cannot ignore it. You stop. You breathe. You pause. This is not a notification. This is a mindful pause. I built Pause Moment because I kept losing the dismiss-the-reminder fight myself. ▸ WHO IT'S FOR If you have ADHD and dismiss every alarm before your conscious mind even registers it, Pause Moment was built for you. If you take antidepressant medication daily and want the dose to happen every single day, Pause Moment was built for you. Your dose deserves more than a swipe. If you've set a "no phone after 6pm" rule for family time and broken it every evening because notifications keep pulling you back, Pause Moment was built for you. The phone hijacks attention. This puts it down. If you've tried every reminder app and none worked because they were too easy to dismiss, Pause Moment was built for you. ▸ YOUR PHOTO ON YOUR LOCKED SCREEN Every pause shows your photo. Not a generic icon. Your photo. See your medication. See your child's face. See the reason you're doing this. Your photo fades in at the top of your locked screen, so what matters is the one thing you can't look away from. ▸ YOUR WORDS, WORD BY WORD Write your personal message. It appears on your locked screen word by word, slowly, with intention. Your words. Your voice. Add a motivational line below: a second message from yourself, to yourself, at the moment you need it most. ▸ ONE PAUSE, YOUR LENGTH Set a pause for 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 minutes. A 1-minute pause for your medication. A 3-minute breath before a meeting. A 10-minute pause at 6:30pm to read to your kids. For 10 real minutes the phone is locked. You're there. They notice. ▸ PAUSE CYCLES Schedule recurring pauses: a 2-minute pause every 25 minutes for a set of 5, a 1-minute mindful pause every hour, a 3-minute medication pause three times a day. Built for ADHD focus sessions, medication routines, pomodoro work, hydration, morning and evening routines. ▸ YOUR SAFE PEOPLE Add up to 2 emergency contacts. They appear at the bottom of every pause. One tap calls the person who matters most. No friction. No searching. Just them, right there, when you need them. ▸ PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your photo. Your words. Your notes. Your history. All of it stays on your phone. No internet required. No account. No cloud sync. No ads. If the app crashes, it sends an anonymous crash report so the bug can be fixed. That is the only thing that leaves your phone. Pause Moment cannot see what you write or who is in your photos. You cannot dismiss it before the time you set is up. The ADHD brain dismisses alarms before conscious thought kicks in. The person on antidepressants forgets a dose because the reminder felt like noise. The parent who set a 10-minute pause to read to the kids actually reads to the kids, because the screen is locked and the choice was already made when the pause was set. ▸ FREE TO START Free with one pause. Premium unlocks unlimited pauses, pause cycles, and everything coming next. No ads on either tier.
