Chess clock that switches the instant you tap. Blitz, increment, delay, byo-yomi
Kibitz is a chess clock that switches the instant you touch your side — anywhere on your half, with one finger or your whole hand. Use it as a chess timer for blitz and rapid, a tournament backup clock, or a game clock for shogi and go. EVERY TIME CONTROL, FREE FOREVER - Sudden death, Fischer increment (3+2, 15+10…), US delay and Bronstein delay - Multi-stage FIDE controls: 40 moves in 90 min, then 30 min, +30 s from move 1 - Byo-yomi for shogi and go (30 s, or 30 s ×3) and Canadian byo-yomi (5 min for 10 moves) - Different time for each player (5 min vs 3 min) for handicap games - One-tap presets: Bullet, Blitz, Rapid, Classical, shogi and go — plus "Same as last time" - Build your own time control and save it A CHESS CLOCK YOU CAN TRUST - It switches on touch, not on release, so a fast press always counts - A second finger or a slapped palm never counts twice - Time comes from the phone's own clock, not from screen refreshes, so fast play never gains or loses seconds - Undo the last switch (the time goes back too), pause, and add time to either player - The screen stays on during a game HEAR YOUR TIME - Warnings at 1 minute, 30 seconds and 10 seconds, by voice and vibration - Byo-yomi countdown read aloud ("10 seconds, 9, 8 … 1"), started a moment early so you can press before the last second runs out - A crisp click on every switch, or silence for tournaments MADE TO SIT NEXT TO THE BOARD - Big, elegant numbers. The far side is upside down, so both players read their own time - Portrait or landscape - Walnut, maple and ebony themes, plus a high-contrast mode for playing outdoors ABOUT ADS The free version shows a small banner in the middle strip, never over the tap areas. Full-screen ads never appear while a game is running or paused: at most, an occasional one after you finish a game, or when you come back to the app after a long break. Kibitz Pro removes them all. KIBITZ PRO (ONE-TIME PURCHASE) - No ads - Save unlimited custom time controls (3 are free) No subscription. The clock and every time control stay free.
