Photo slideshow and digital photo frame for your TV, with a photo screensaver.
TV Photo Slide turns your Android TV or Google TV into a digital photo frame. Play a photo slideshow from the photos on your TV, a USB drive, a network folder or your phone, with smooth transitions, a clock and the weather. Send photos from your phone Open the app on your TV, scan the QR code with your phone and pick photos, videos or music. Nothing needs to be installed on the phone, and the files go straight to the TV over your home Wi-Fi. If a slideshow is running, the new photos are shown next. A photo slideshow made for the big screen • Crossfade, slide, zoom and other transitions, plus a slow pan and zoom (Ken Burns) • Smart fit: photos fill the screen when little would be cut off, otherwise they are shown whole on a soft blurred background • Two portrait photos side by side on a wide TV • Shuffle shows every photo once before any photo repeats • Videos play inside the slideshow • Background music sent from your phone or stored on the device Your photos, wherever they are • Photos on the TV, on USB drives and on SD cards • Network folders on a Windows PC or a NAS (SMB 2 and 3) • Photos sent from your phone • Smart slideshows: On this day, Last 30 days and Favorites • Your own slideshows that mix albums, drives and folders Digital photo frame and screensaver • Large clock and date, the current weather and the date and album of each photo • Use it as the screensaver of your TV • Night mode darkens the screen at night and starts again in the morning • Start the slideshow as soon as the app opens • The clock and captions move slightly every minute to protect OLED screens Easy with the TV remote Left and right change the photo, OK shows the controls and Up shows the photo details. Mark a favorite or hide a photo from the slideshow with one button. Privacy Your photos stay on your devices and your home network, and there are no accounts. The weather overlay only sends the location you choose to the weather service. Google TV and Chromecast with Google TV list only their own Ambient mode as screensaver. The app shows how to turn on TV Photo Slide as screensaver with a one time command from a computer. Questions or problems? Write to ongorunet@gmail.com
