It is optional and only works after you turn on "HearLess Voice Typing" yourself in Settings > Accessibility, following an in-app explanation that you must accept first. Hearless uses this service only to: • detect when you are typing in a text field, so the Hearless mic can appear next to it • insert the text you dictated into that field Hearless does not read, store or share any other content on your screen, and does not collect personal data through the AccessibilityService API. Audio is recorded only after you tap the Hearless mic. Any app that can share an audio file, and voice typing works in any app with a text field. Is Hearless a keyboard? No. It adds a mic next to the text box and types into it, so you keep your usual keyboard. Can it write Urdu or Hindi in English letters? Yes. That is the Roman script option, for transcripts and voice typing. Do I need an internet connection? Yes. Speech is processed on our servers to keep accuracy high and the app small. Recordings are deleted after processing.
