This app isn't in any of our charts yet.
• Pro screen shows a price, and buying it works • If your account owns premium_minimal_launcher, Pro is already active • Updating over the old app doesn't crash or land on a blank home • Swipes: left drawer, right usage, up tasks, down shade • Long press home, or the drawer's last row, opens settings.
A quiet, text-only home screen that pauses before the apps that pull you in.
Boring Launcher turns your phone into something that waits for you. No icons. No feeds. No badges. Just a clock and the few apps you actually meant to open, as plain text on a plain background. The intentional pause Mark the apps that pull you in. When you open one, the launcher shows a calm breathing screen first: which app you are opening, how many times you have opened it today, and how long you have spent in it. Then choose: • Open for 5 minutes • Open for 15 minutes • Not now “Not now” is the biggest button. It is meant to be easy to press. Boring Launcher is honest about its limits. A launcher cannot close an app for you, and this one does not pretend it can. The timer that follows is a gentle nudge, not a lock. The friction is the point. Time budgets Give an app a daily budget. When it runs out, opening it offers one deliberate override instead of the usual choices. Set a budget across the whole app drawer and, once it is spent, the drawer shows only your essential apps and a suggestion to take a break. See where the time goes See today's screen time, a seven-day chart, your top apps, and how many times you unlocked your phone. Plus the number that actually matters: how often you chose “not now” this week. Tasks and memos Quick-add tasks with optional due dates and reminders. Swipe to complete or delete, and drag to reorder. The next few things due today sit quietly under your apps on the home screen. Nothing leaves your device Boring Launcher is built without the internet permission. The app is technically incapable of sending anything anywhere. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking. Your screen time, your tasks and your notifications stay on your phone. Boring Pro A single one-time purchase. No subscription. • Up to 8 essential apps on the home screen instead of 4 • Six more colour palettes, your own custom colours, and Material You • Three extra fonts and clock styles • Unlimited memos • 30-day usage history with per-app trends • Notification Digest — hold back notifications from apps you choose and read them together, once or twice a day, instead of the moment they arrive If you bought the original app, Pro is already yours. Nothing to do, nothing to pay again. Getting around Swipe left for all your apps, right for usage, up for tasks, and down for the notification shade. Long-press the home screen for settings. Tap the clock for your alarms and the date for your calendar. What this is not Boring Launcher is not a blocker. It will not lock you out, shame you, or send you a report. It just makes thoughtless opens a little harder and leaves the rest to you.
