First release of Mileroll, a mileage log you fill in yourself. Log each trip by its odometer readings or its distance, in kilometres or miles for each vehicle. Saved routes and the return trip take one tap. Your own rates by purpose and date, with an optional second rate after a distance. A report for each tax year, a mileage log PDF to share and a CSV of your trips. Your log stays on your phone.
Business mileage log for taxes: odometer trips, your own rates, no GPS.
Mileroll is a mileage log you fill in yourself. Log each trip by its odometer readings or its distance, say what it was for, and see how far you drove for business this tax year, with no GPS, no tracking and no account. ★ A LOGBOOK, NOT A TRACKER A mileage tracker for taxes that never tracks you: Mileroll never uses GPS and never knows where your phone is. Nothing runs in the background, so personal driving never lands in your log by accident. - Odometer readings or distance only, kept as a kilometre log or a mileage log: each vehicle has its own unit - Every trip starts where the last one ended, and a gap or a step back in the readings is shown, never changed for you - Saved routes fill a trip in one tap, and the return trip is one tap more - Parking and tolls on any trip ★ YOUR RATES AND YOUR TAX YEAR Mileroll has no rates of its own. Rates differ by country and change every year, so you enter the rate you claim, from your tax office or your employer, and the day it starts. - A rate per purpose, per kilometre or per mile, to a hundredth of a cent - One rate for the first part of a tax year's distance and another after it, split exactly inside the trip that crosses over - Last year's trips keep last year's rate - Your tax year starts on the day you choose: 1 January, 6 April, 1 July or any other - Business and Personal to start with, your own purposes after, and you decide which count as deductible ★ A REPORT AND A TRIP LOG FOR YOUR ACCOUNTANT For a tax year or any dates: the trips, the deductible distance and the amount at your rates band by band, which are the figures a mileage deduction starts from, with distance by purpose and by vehicle, parking and tolls. Kilometres and miles are never added together or converted. - Share the mileage log as a PDF: every trip a row, the totals at the foot, your name if you give it - Export the trips as a CSV file that a spreadsheet reads in any language - Mileroll gives no tax advice: every amount is your own calculation at the rates you entered, and the log is your own record, not an official one. ★ YOUR LOG STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Your trips, vehicles, rates and the places and clients you describe stay on your phone. They leave it only if you share a mileage log, or save a backup or a CSV file where you choose. - It works with no connection and no account, and it needs the internet only for ads - It never asks you for a permission: not your location, not your files, not notifications - Android's cloud backup is off for Mileroll, so a new phone starts empty unless you restore a backup you saved - Mileroll is a log of trips, not a fuel log or a service log ★ ADS Ads come from Google's ads software, which receives your phone's advertising ID, an approximate location from its internet address and how ads are seen. Mileroll never gives it a trip, a place, a client, a distance or an amount. An ad only ever comes after you save a new trip, never while you type. A video in Settings turns ads off for a day, and nothing in the app is behind it. Privacy policy: https://dash-fusion.github.io/privacy/list-mileage
