MemoraShelf files screenshots and shared links onto shelves as cards.
MemoraShelf sorts your screenshots onto shelves. Memora for short.
You screenshot a book from a reel, a recipe, a café a friend recommended, a jacket you might buy, and then it gets lost in your gallery. Memora reads those screenshots and turns each one into a card on the right shelf: Books, Recipes, Places, Products, Movies & TV, Quotes and more.
How it works
- Take screenshots the way you already do. When you open Memora, it reads the new ones and files them.
- The text in each screenshot is recognized on your phone.
- On the last intro page you choose whether Memora may use AI services such as Google's Gemini. Allow it, and Memora looks things up from a few masked words and sends a small copy of any screenshot it can't make out. Choose Not now, and sorting stays on your phone.
- Cards Memora isn't sure about wait in your Inbox, where one tap files them.
What a card gives you
With look-ups allowed, opening a card shows a short page about it:
- A book: what the story is about, without the ending, and why people read it.
- A place: what people go there for and its good and bad sides. Saved places also appear on a map.
- A recipe: the dish, a link to where you saw it, and simple ingredients and steps if the screenshot had none.
- A product: what it is, who it suits, a rough price and links to find it in shops in your country.
- A post or video you shared: what it covers, with each tip, tool or place it names.
Pages are written by AI and can be wrong, so check anything that matters. Cards also carry a status, like Want to read or Visited.
Save links from other apps
Tap Share in TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Chrome or Google Maps and choose Memora, and the link becomes a card. With look-ups allowed, Memora reads the post itself: every slide of a TikTok or Instagram carousel and what is said in a video. A post that asks a question becomes one card with the question and its answers.
Find things again
- Search the words inside every screenshot, right on your phone.
- Set a reminder on any card, and get a note the day before a saved ticket, booking or bill that has a date.
- Home screen widgets: Up next, Coming up, Inbox, Daily quote and Rediscover.
What stays on your phone
- Your photo library is never uploaded. If you allow picture reading, only a small copy of a screenshot Memora can't sort goes out, and never one that looks private, like a chat, a bill, a ticket, a contact or a note.
- Codes & Passwords and Health are Vault shelves: nothing on them is sent anywhere or shown in widgets, and the same goes for screenshots with card numbers, IBANs or passwords.
- Online look-ups send a few lines of the text Memora read, with phone numbers, emails, codes and card numbers masked first.
- You can change your choice any time in Settings > Privacy. With look-ups off, sorting runs entirely on your phone.
- No ads and no tracking. An account (Google or email) is optional.
Free and Pro
Memora is free to use. The free plan organizes your 100 newest screenshots each month and keeps your 5 biggest shelves open. Reaching a limit deletes nothing: extra screenshots wait for next month, and other shelves stay out of sight until you upgrade or swap one (once every 30 days).
Memora Pro organizes every screenshot and opens every shelf. It adds Aura, the pattern in what you save (your type this month, your mix and a daily nudge), "You might also like" picks for your shelves, an AI assistant that answers questions about what you saved, and the Aura widget.
Pro is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year in the US (prices vary by country), each with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, which you can do any time in Google Play > Subscriptions.
